HK Motorcars’ SCG 007 #709 Finishes on THE Podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans

The cars ran strongly until 708 spun into the wall and limped back into the pit. The team quickly changed the front, the rear suspension, and the tail and got the car back out on the track in under seven minutes. This dropped 708 from P3 to P19. Over the next 14 hours, 708 fought back from P19 to P4. 709 continued to run flawlessly. We had the pace of the Toyotas on many laps, but the damaged sensor prevented us from running the pace as consistently as the Toyotas. We finished P3 and P4, and we are incredibly proud.

Checkered flag, a tired, proud, happy mob storms the pitlane and the fence. Hugs. Cheers. A solid race. First in class and P12 overall. The Team tears down and packs up everything: the box, the truck, the tent before the car is out of parc fermé.

The 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps
Held annually in Belgium, the legendary Spa-Francorchamps offers some of the most challenging racing in the world, featuring 20 turns and 7 km of distance. Glickenhaus has confirmed that Pipo Derani will drive for Glickenhaus Racing at the TotalEnergies 6 Hours of Spa along with Olivier Pla and Romain Dumas in the #708 SCG 007 LMH (the #709 car will not be running in this race).

Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus ran in the Hypercar class of the 2022 1000 Miles of Sebring in preparation for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship 12 Hours of Sebring. The Hypercar class contained four cars: two Toyota GR010 Hybrids, the Alpine A480, and the Glickenhaus 007 (#708).
